If I had a crazy amount of Money.

If I somehow won or inherited a crazy amount of money I would go on a spending spree (well first i would take 80% or so and invest it to that i have enough for the rest of my life) and the rest i would spend on high end gizmos gadgets and cool things.
I thought i would dream about all the material items I would like. but dont really need. cause its fun to dream. so here is a list!

Car(s)

Aprox $50,000
Ive liked subarus for a long time. having driven them since ive had my license. I always dreamed of this car.. in the classic blue!im sure i could use this as my daily commuter

Aston Martin Vanquish S
Aprox $255,000 USD
Now I must say I love this car.. its not the fastest car in the world but I do believe it is one of the most beautiful.
not that 6.0 Liters of V12 goodness and 520HP wont do me for a while.

Motorcycles
------------------------
I havent ridden a bike in a while but would love to get back into it.

BMW R1200 GS Adventure
My real first bike was really my dads a R100GSPD, a great bike. i miss it. but my dad moved on to bigger and faster things
but i think i would get this one. since i dont feel im a fast typa guy on a bike. and that this one seems mean enough
$aprox 17,000 USD

Computer
---------------------

Being an Apple Guy i cant help to choose this computer

Apple Mac Pro workstation

16GB Ram, 2 TD of Hard drive space
Dual 30" Apple Cinema Displays
Nvidia Quadro FX 4500 with 512MB
Dual DVD Burners all for a Cool $17,000 USD
Plus I would prob get a topofthe line Mac Book Pro laptop which would run me about $3500
and an IPOD 80Gb for $349

Camera
---------------------------

Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II
Truly the best Digital SLR Camera Body one can buy
for only $8000

Now some lenses
Canon EF - 16-35 F2.8
Canon EF - 24-70 F2.8
Canon EF - 70-200 F2.8 IS
Canon EF 24mm F1.4
Canon EF 50mm F 1.2L
Canon EF 85mm F 1.2 II USM
Canon EF 135mm F2 USM L
Canon EF 300mm F4 IS USM
Canon EF 400mm F 2.8
Canon EF 600mm F 4 IS
Canon Extender 1.4 and 2x
Canon EF 180mm Macro F3.5
Canon EF 100mm Macro 2.8
Canon Speedlight 580ex

The value of all these lenses.. whoa.. um im guessing around 20,000

Here comes the Future!

I love new technologies and gadgets that make me feel like we are in the future
here are a few i just found out about

Hitachi EMIEW Robot

The Driverless Car!

Here is a ripped off description from another site
"CHANGCHUN, China — At its hometown show last week, China's First Auto Works wowed the locals with a demonstration of what was described as the country's first unmanned vehicle — not counting spacecraft, of course.

The vehicle in question was a specially modified version of FAW's Hongqi (Red Flag) HQ3 sedan, which was unveiled last year as a concept and bears a startling resemblance to the Toyota Crown Majesta, not to mention an older Hyundai XG350.

FAW tested the driverless sedan at speeds of up to 37 mph but said the car can actually reach a top speed of 93 mph. The demonstration took place at the Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo here, according to the Shanghai Daily.

According to the newspaper, the specially equipped HQ3, which monitors the road via two onboard cameras and receives its instructions from a computer, "has a strong ability to recognize the environment around it and tackle turnoffs [and] street crossings, as well as broken lines instantly. It's also able to adapt to changes of driving attitude and natural lighting, as well as shadows of trees and bridges."

I will Try to keep posting cool things i find on the net!
stay tuned

Boy? Girl?

This coming Thursday, Jennifer has an ultrasound , she will be 20weeks by then
and hopefully we will find out if we will have a boy or a girl.

I cant say what i would like more.. only because i dont know. sometimes I hope its a boy.. sometimes a girl.. but in the end it doesnt really matter. i really hope its healthy and normal (normal for us)

I did feel quite jealous when our friends Becca & Drew told us they were having a boy (they are about 2 weeks more pregnant then Jen & I)

anyways I will keep you posted. its exciting and i cant wait to find out.. and i hope i actually find out. We will try and get a video of the ultrasound and maybe i will post it online

If i could change the world

If I could change the world. Here is what I would do.
(assuming I had unlimited control and power/influence) like the power of the Q from Star Trek

unite all countries under one form of government, so basically it would be a world government with provinces (countries now).

I would get rid of organized religion and church. But encourage personal belief’s

Protect all animals that are endangered. Including whales, seals.. any any needlessly hunted animals. (for furs, accessories.etc)

Destroy all pointless weapons ,especially mines, nuclear bombs, machine guns, hand guns.

I would encourage the building of a space elevator. To make space tourism possible.

Provide high speed wireless free internet access to the world.

Fund the genetic engineering of crops that wont die or atleast need little water so that they can grow in dry places.

Spread food and wealth around the world. So that there is no more 1st, 2nd and 3rd world countries.. everyone is equal.

Make English the language of the world (questionable), but still encourage a hertitage language.

Make cigarettes illegal. Stop manufacturing. Huge fines. Taxes, destroy any remaining stockpiles.

Encourage fuel cell. And fully electric vehicles.

Try to stop using fossil fuels whenever possible.

Encourage the thought that . more research is better then the cheaper way out.

Build a space ship to explore our solar system

Encourage research on alternate forms of space propulsion.

Colonize the moon and mars. (begin terraforming mars)

Develop robots to assits that can help us do anything.

Encourage working from home

Build communities that are as self sustained as possible. So that lots of travel isn’t necessary

Make all homes have solar panels. So they can power the world energy grid or use it..

Make a typical work week from Tuesday – Friday – 10am – 4pm

Make spam illegal. (prob is already)

Make universal health care available to everyone. Everywhere. (including full dental, chiropractic, drug ) at no charge

A 10% income tax everywhere. With no sales or service tax on anything

Build smaller vehicles to transport people.

Make a government run airline service. Providing inexpensive travel anywhere to anyone

Provide free, housing for everyone. If unemployed (small homes. No luxuries) to help eliminate homeless

Provide mental help for homeless in institutions.

Consolidate the worlds armys into one. Global force to global defence

Create a global defence system. Incase of off world attackers.

Restore the ozone layer.

Restore the pollution in the air to levels 5000 years ago

Ban coal burning or anything that pollutes the air substantially

Free internet telephone for all (including internet based VOIP cell phones)

One standard to High Def DVD’s!

Make apple computers the one and only choice :P

Bring back start trek. With a new episode every week.

Make it so if you are convicted of a crime. Like murder or rape. You are sentenced to life in prison. By life I mean.. in jail until you die. Or are given the choice of death after 20 years in prison

Create a GPS network 1000 times more accurate and able to work anywhere (in buildings, forests or underground or underwater) and have it intergrated into all vehicles. Watches, cell phones, homes, planes or anyting else that’s mobile that could use the functionaility

Make amusement parks free.

Make movies cheaper and popcorn a reasonable price

Pour trillions into health research.

Make pharmaceutical drugs cheap. With no markup.. drugs provided at cost. And available for free to those who cannot afford them.

Online voting mandatory. For any significant change in government policy

Biometic (iris and fingerprint) used for all financial transactions

Global id card (multipass)

Invent the Flying Car! (bout time) and the hoverboard cause its cool

Bring back the delorean

Invent a new kind of battery that can last a month. Takes 2 minutes to charge and weights next to nothing , and is very small and provides lots of power)

Free public transportation systems (buses, taxi, and trains)

If possible create a replicator (like on star trek)

If possible create a transporter (like on star trek)

And a holideck (heck just make the good stuff from star trek a reality)

What would you like to do.to make the world a better place, yes this is somewhat silly. but thats ok.

why do i even try

sometimes i signup for different things. thinking oh yes this is neat.. i will use this all the time. its the next best thing..but no.. like my blog for example.. in the 6 months or whatever ive had it .. this is my 3rd post.. so really no one really cares.
me included. but its still up and im bored at the moment so here goes.

here is an update on my life.

im working at Metropolitan printing aprox 30 hrs a week. doing graphic work. and very slowly learning how to run a press
also working on the program guide for the sound of music festival a big project but very doable with my current set of skills
working on making invitation and bottle labels for my wedding in september
got a new used car.. 1999 forester. its pretty good. have some minor things i still need to work out. but im confident everthging will go well.

i would like to not care if i make any typos , as correcting typos is a pain and no one really cares if i do it or not. well maybe jen but thatrs it. oh same goes for punctuation. I dont have great grammer or punctuation skills and when i type without looking at the screen or keyboard. sometimes stuff i write goews wonky.. im not sorry for this .. but this little piece of text really isnt signifiant enough to justify wanted to proof it.. like who cares really..

so,,,,,, k im done

thanks for reading :) take care

Busy Little Bee

Well, as promised im not updating regularly

I have been quite busy working on some Graphics Contracts and workint two other Jobs.. makes my time very hard to manage especially with a wonderful and demanding fiance, It becomes sometimes very hard to make everyone happy.. one the one hand I know i have things to do. on the other I want to spend as much time with Jen as i can. and its hard to say. I have to work now. and I feel bad for sometimes seeming to push her away. Luckily my contract ended on tuesday (yesterday) and now im only working 2 part time jobs instead of 1 full, 2 part.. so it seems alot less stressful.

anyways we are going camping this weekend. leaving on Friday back on tuesday.
to Mew Lake in Algonquin park. There was a long. almost heated discussion if i should bring Cody, My huge Energetic Golden Retriever.. in the end its a No.. but maybe next time.. or maybe me and cody will go out on our own. one weekend or something.

I want to next spring/fall to go Portag'ing in algonquin. canoe and all.. never been as of yet. but i think it would be a good experience.
